Homicide Prompts Neighborhood Peace, Not War

21 year old Raymond Harris, also known as Lil’ Ray, was fatally shot near an orchard managed by Walnut Way Conservation Corp. – a neighborhood group in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights neighborhood. When Lil’ Ray died, Walnut Way had to show that homicide is not OK in their sacred space. The first step? Bring together all the young men from the neighborhood affected by this tragedy – and talk about it.

If you live anywhere from 12th Street to 27th Street and Walnut Street to North Avenue in Milwaukee, Walnut Way Conservation Corp would like you to get involved. You can call 414-264-2326 ext. 20 find out how.
